The IT department of the UKJ (GB IT) is currently committed to Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) as the supplier for extensions and substitutions of the existing IT infrastructure and therefore intends to conclude a framework agreement for the procurement of HPE system components. This is due to the fact that there is a comprehensive and almost complete data centre infrastructure from the manufacturer HPE, which must be permanently expanded and partially or substantially renewed within the framework of lifecycle management. A change of manufacturer would involve very high effort and high switching costs.
