The contracting authority will convert the existing drive laboratory, including the transformer room, in the building at Giefinggasse 2 into a battery test laboratory (hereinafter also referred to as the battery laboratory or laboratory) for all types of modern lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries (generic term intercalation batteries). Tests can be conducted in the laboratory at the cell, module, and system levels (battery pack).
