Finland – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Munkkiniemi (Talinpuisto-Laajalahdenaukio, Perustie) TP 21-26

The construction site is located in Munkkiniemi and Munkkivuori. The mixed water sewer departing from Munkkiniemi is separated into a wastewater sewer and a stormwater sewer. For the sewers, the construction of the Valtatie 1 underpass will be carried out using trenchless methods. The contract also includes the renewal of water pipes. In Munkkiniemi, in addition to the park, water supply is renovated on Perustiellä and on the side street of Perustiet. In Munkkivuori, in addition to the park, water supply is renovated on Mesenaatinkuja and in Kielosaarenpuisto. The work is mainly carried out using open-cut methods. At the Valtatie 1 location, the stormwater sewer and wastewater sewer are underpassed/drilled. The pipes are mainly constructed on a pile slab. Approximately 5900m2 of pile slab is constructed. Approximately 13633 m of steel-reinforced concrete piles and 4350 m of steel pipe piles are constructed.
