Germany – Video-conferencing equipment – Rahmenvertrag Medientechnik

The subject of the procurement is a group-wide framework agreement with a single service provider for the supply, installation and commissioning of media technology and conference technology for Deutsche Bahn AG and its associated companies. The main customer will be DB Systel GmbH. The systems to be purchased include media technology components of different device classes, including large screens with and without touch functionality, their mounts, digital door signs, signage players, projectors, screens, videoconferencing systems from the manufacturer Cisco Systems and its accessories, videoconferencing systems compatible with MS Teams Room, audio and video networking, extenders and control, videobars (incl. audio), microphones, speakers, digital signal processors, and more. Details see tender documents. Furniture, such as conference tables, are not subject to the procurement. An exception are media columns. The contract period is 8 years, with the contracting authority being entitled to terminate the framework agreement annually on the last day of a contract year, with a 3-month lead time, at the earliest effectively after 4 years of contract duration, by unilateral declaration and without giving reasons. The contractor will be obliged, according to Section 1.5 "Transition phase at the start and end of the framework agreement" of Appendix 1 to the Specification of Services, to implement two connections, namely "Service Provider Order Processing (SPOP)" according to the specification of DB Systel according to Appendix 6 to the framework agreement, "SAP Business Network" and, secondly, "SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC)" according to Appendix 7 for the entire group, within six months after the start of the contract, so that orders and further related data can be processed via them. Media and conference technology systems in conference rooms nationwide in buildings of the Deutsche Bahn AG group are to be delivered, installed, networked and commissioned via this framework agreement. This applies to both new installations and extensions of existing technical installations. Pure delivery services, among others, are also to be ordered via SCC. The procurement consists of a single lot. The deliveries and services to be provided by the contractor are described in the further tender documents. It is expected that participants will have thoroughly read Appendix 1 "Specification of Hardware and Service Media Technology" before sending the participation applications and consider themselves to be fully suitable for providing the services according to Chapter 5 "Delivery and Service Logistics", Chapter 6 "Business Transactions", Chapter 7 "Quality", Chapter 8 "Order Interface DB Systel", Chapter 9 "Invoicing Documents" and Chapter 10 "Project Services".
