The collection/removal and processing of small hazardous waste in the cooperation area of IVVO. IVVO has its own collection vehicle for small hazardous waste. Weekly, the small hazardous waste is collected from 9 recycling parks (Nieuwpoort, Koksijde, De Panne, Veurne, Diksmuide, Vleteren, Ieper, Poperinge and Nieuwkerke), temporarily stored and possibly conditioned at its sorting centre KGA in Veurne, located at Ondernemingenstraat 15. A very small portion comes from neighbourhood collections. The contractor must collect the small hazardous waste from the central depot of IVVO-Veurne for transport to its central depot where it is stored and possibly conditioned, and subsequently (have it) transported to approved processing facilities. As an optional requirement, the contractor must also quote a price for collection at the recycling parks, in case IVVO needs additional logistics in the event of peak moments or emergency. This service falls under the acceptance obligation of household packaging waste by Fost Plus, in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement. To this end, the contracting authority has concluded an agreement with Fost Plus, the recognised organisation for household packaging waste. Fost Plus will also be responsible for the remuneration of the performances relating to the packaging part of the hazardous waste streams that will be delivered by the service provider within the framework of this contract.
