Belgium – Services provided by medical laboratories – Raamovereenkomst voor bloedafnames aan huis en levering stalen aan labo AZORG

This contract involves the execution of home blood draws on behalf of the Clinical Laboratory Azorg, by a qualified nurse, using their own transport. The contract also includes:

- blood draws from patients at home according to the evidence-based protocols of the own organisation, including the puncturing of port catheters

- taking of blood samples in medical centres or care homes

- scheduling appointments for blood draws with the patient and rescheduling if necessary

- identification and traceability of the sample taken

- storage and transport of the sample in accordance with the prescribed transport conditions by clinical labo AZORG

- delivery of the samples to pre-agreed pick-up points

- use of the AZORG lab information system, for which logins will be provided

Initially, but not limited to, the regions of Oost Vlaanderen and Vlaams Brabant.
