France – Road-surface painting work – Travaux de signalisation horizontale sur les voies rapides et dans les tunnels de la Métropole de Lyon

This framework agreement for purchase orders covers the regulatory works of horizontal signalling (marking works) on motorways and in tunnels of the Métropole de Lyon. Horizontal signalling refers to the set of road markings used to guide users, materialise or remind them of traffic rules, indicate the presence of hazards and order and materialise movement or parking spaces. For the motorways of the Métropole de Lyon, road markings are mandatory under the regulations of the Highway Code, the Highway Code, but above all the interministerial instruction on road signage. The works are defined with the project owner at the time of the order and consist, in particular, of:

- Pre-marking, for special markings and for linear markings in the case of a new wearing course,

- Removal of existing markings when necessary,

- Application of marking products, white or yellow, temporary or permanent, supplied by the contractor in accordance with the applicable regulations, for the implementation of:

- Linear markings (edge lines and centre lines)

- Special markings (Zebra, Merge Arrow, Bidirectional Arrow, Directional Arrow, Bike Arrow, Bike Logo, Bias Hatching, STOP Line, "Give Way" Line, Pedestrian Crossing, Chessboard, BUS Sign, Bus Zig-Zag)
