Switzerland – Repair, maintenance and associated services related to aircraft, railways, roads and marine equipment – SPATZ GFK + Lackierung

As part of the refit in the Meiringen workshop, the GFK and paint surfaces of all 10 multiple units are to be renovated. In February 2026, a survey and assessment were carried out on the reference vehicle SPATZ 130 009-04 (Annexes D1 and D2). The following damages were identified in particular: - heavily weathered, faded roof aprons (White/Grey) - Cracking and impact marks on the GFK fronts and front aprons - Corrosion with blistering on window frames of the end cars - Paint damage (stone chips) and scratches in the clear coat on the car bodies - Age-related marks on the sealing joints at the front windows and at the end car/front transition. For this task, the specialist is expected to bring the necessary competencies and experience to realise this project in the desired quality. Due to the railway operational requirements, a strong awareness of deadlines, costs and the environment is expected. The following specific goals are to be achieved: * Lot 1: GFK renovation and repainting of 160 roof aprons (16 pieces per multiple unit) according to Technical Specification Paint Coating 114089 C, paint shades RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey and RAL 9010 Pure White, glossy * Lot 2: GFK repair and repainting of the fronts, window renovation and repair painting of the car bodies (End Car 1, Intermediate Car, End Car 2) on 10 multiple units according to * Lot 2: A throughput time of around 5 weeks per multiple unit (End Cars each 2 weeks, Intermediate Car 1 week; in case of corrosion damage to the Intermediate Car up to 2 weeks) * Complete documentation with production and test protocols (coating thickness, grid cut, gloss level)
