The subject of the contract is: Execution of construction and assembly works on the object: “Improvement of the courtyard space of the Technological School of Electronic Systems (TUES) at the Technical University of Sofia, construction of open sports fields and a courtyard pavilion for outdoor educational activities. The object represents the courtyard space of the Technical School of Electronic Systems at the Technical University of Sofia. According to the Building Permit, the object is First Group, Fourth Category. The courtyard space, which is the subject of this project, has an area of 7873 sq.m. The construction and assembly works, which are the subject of the contract, include the following parts: Architectural /A/, Structural /K/, Electrical Installations /EL/, Water Supply and Drainage /WSD/, Landscaping and Geodesy. The Investor's goal is to improve the free spaces, by building alleys and pedestrian zones, planting, building rest and walking areas, area lighting, fence. Achieving a comprehensive architectural-landscape impact on the park area on the educational environment. Increasing the comfort of living outside the building space of the educational institution, with improved opportunities for rest and entertainment. Adding special accents in the park area for educational purposes, as well as stimulating students, through the presentation of outstanding achievements in educational activities. For the object, there is a prepared, agreed and approved investment project in the Technical Project phase for parts: Architecture, Structures, Geodesy, Water Supply and Drainage, Electrical, Landscaping, Fire Safety Opinion. The construction and assembly works will be carried out in two consecutive stages: 1. First stage – In the first stage, all construction and assembly activities related to excavation, concrete works and the construction of infrastructure will be included. In this stage, the existing asphalt pavement will be removed to be replaced with a new one. Excavation of the earth base around the building foundations is planned to lay down a waterproofing and drainage pipes according to the details applied in the projects for part Architecture and part WSD. In the sports zone, a fountain for drinking water will be built, which will be supplied from the existing water supply network of the school. When excavating the soil, the routes of the power supply network will be laid and the places for the laying of the revision shafts and the poles for lighting/video surveillance, shown in the project for part Electrical, will be formed. The fence at the street regulation will be completely replaced – from all sides of the school with the exception of the side border with the neighbor from the northwest - PI 68134.4082.69 – 17 CDG Nadezhda. The fence will be made according to the structural detail with a concrete plinth with a height of 60cm, on which metal columns and lattice panels will be placed between them. This stage of activities includes the construction of the foundations for the seasonal pavilion for outdoor educational activities. The fence around the playgrounds will be made of metal columns, stepping on strip foundations according to the structural detail. The surface for the volleyball/basketball court, fitness zone and running track is rubber, for which it is necessary to lay a concrete surface according to the detail applied in the project for part Architecture. All these activities require heavy machinery and excavation of the courtyard space, for which they must be performed first. 2. Second stage – Landscaping and greening, with the construction of an irrigation system and vertical planning. In this stage, finishing works for the improvement of the courtyard will be carried out, including: - laying the rubber surface at the volleyball/basketball court, fitness zone and running track; - construction of the surface with artificial grass according to the architectural detail at the football field; - preparation of the base and laying of the paved surface for the alleys in the rest zone and the courtyard pavilion for outdoor educational activities; - construction of the courtyard pavilion for outdoor educational activities; - laying of the pipes for drip irrigation at the necessary places; - planting of vegetation according to the project for part Landscaping. The deadline for the construction /deadline for the execution of the agreed construction and assembly works and the handover of the construction from the CONTRACTOR with the Certificate of Completion Form 15/ is up to 150 (one hundred and fifty) calendar days. The deadline for the execution of the agreed construction and assembly works and the handover of the construction starts to run from the handover of the construction site to the CONTRACTOR with protocol no. 2, according to Ordinance No. 3 of 31.07.2003, for the preparation of acts and protocols during the construction and ends with the handover of the construction from the CONTRACTOR with the Certificate of Completion Form 15. Protocol no. 2 for opening the construction site will be signed within 10 calendar days, from the date of signing the contract. The warranty periods for the execution of C&A works are in accordance with the requirements of Ordinance No. 2 of 31.07.2003, for the commissioning of constructions in the Republic of Bulgaria and minimum warranty periods for completed C&A works, facilities and construction objects, from the date of commissioning of the object.
