Netherlands – Building construction work – Nieuwbouw gemeentehuis De Ronde Venen

For the administrative and management organisation of the municipality of De Ronde Venen (DRV), a new town hall is being realised. The town hall consists of an office environment, administrative centre, council chamber, meeting centre, public spaces and ancillary/support spaces. The building comprises 5,000 m2 BVO. The new construction meets the BENG standards and the indoor climate meets the healthy offices class B requirements. To achieve this, a wooden load-bearing structure consisting of laminated wooden beams and columns and CLT floors has been chosen in the design process. The facade is built up from HSB elements with a ceramic shell. The design team has developed a Technical Design, including specifications and drawings. Due to the high degree of integration of building services and structural elements, it has been decided to tender the project in one lot (structural and building services).
