Germany – Operation of electrical installations – Betriebunterstützungsvereinbarung Offshore (BUV)

To fulfil its legal operator obligations and to ensure safe, reliable and legally compliant operation of the aforementioned grid facilities or grid connection systems (NAS), the AG carries out the necessary maintenance and operational measures. Due to the technical complexity and high degree of specialization of the facilities, the AG relies on qualified external support services and specialized expertise. In this regard, the AG regularly uses external resources that independently support it in well-defined individual projects regarding self-contained partial aspects of planning and implementation. The main areas of action for operational support under this framework agreement are project management, ensuring smooth logistical processes, and maintaining a consistent and high-quality data and documentation basis, which are described in more detail in the specification of services. Consequently, the subject matter of the contract comprises the following three segments:

- Segment 1: Offshore Logistics Management to ensure the flow of materials and waste on the platforms and, if necessary, on onshore assets

- Segment 2: Project management for the control and implementation of maintenance and optimization projects (particularly in the brownfield environment)

- Segment 3: Document management to create and ensure the completeness of legally required documentation and to accompany and quality-assure changes to existing facilities.
