Complete renewal of the railway bridge over Venloer Straße and Vogelsanger Straße in Cologne. The railway bridges are located on line 2630, at Km 1.131 and Km 1.465, and each bridge carries 10 tracks (5 main tracks and 5 siding tracks). This involves the renewal of the entire bridge structure, including all related technical trades. Each bridge structure consists of two abutments and 10 steel arch superstructures. As part of the bridge renewal at Venloer Straße, the abutments will be demolished and replaced. The steel arch superstructures will be dismantled and replaced with steel trough superstructures for the main tracks and steel-concrete composite superstructures for the siding tracks. At Vogelsanger Straße, all steel arch superstructures will be replaced with girder grid superstructures.
