89081 Ulm, Albert-Einstein-Allee 11, UL, University, M23, Renovation of Virology Diagnostics, VGV_Architectural Services according to Section 3, Part 1 of HOAI, The intention is to commission planning services for buildings according to Section 3, Part 1 of the HOAI 2021, for the renovation of the Virology Diagnostics area at the University of Ulm at the fixed point M23 Level 03. The services are to be awarded in stages. The existing Virology Diagnostics area is located in the east wing of the university building M23 Level 03 and is currently used for the performance of diagnostic examinations by the University Hospital Ulm. The existing spatial and technical structures no longer meet the current requirements for modern laboratory and examination processes. The unused areas in the west wing of the building with approximately 450-500m² are to be gutted. This requires the consideration and development of existing building contaminants in cooperation with a contaminant expert. Fire protection must be enhanced by a fire-resistant wall towards the staircase. Following the renovation, the move from the east to the west wing can take place. The aim of the measure is the functional, technical and structural renewal of the laboratory areas taking into account the current requirements for diagnostic processes, occupational safety, hygiene, energy efficiency and the relevant legal and normative regulations. A future-proof and economical use for the University Hospital is to be ensured by the construction measure. The areas are to be divided according to the space programme into laboratories, offices, storage, changing and cooling rooms. Predominantly standard laboratories are to be set up, which are typical for the work of the diagnostics department. For some laboratories, the higher standard S2 is necessary. Some adjacent areas of the wing and level 02 are also to be considered. The construction is scheduled for year 05/2028.
