Germany – Guidance and counselling services – Aufsuchendes Coaching nach § 16k SGB II

New Paths Kreis Bergstraße - Municipal Job Centre - as an approved municipal body under the Second Book of the Social Code (SGB II) intends to implement a measure "Outreach Coaching as part of Comprehensive Care under § 16k SGB II" for the area of responsibility of all Job Centre locations in the Kreis Bergstraße. The aim of the measure is to stabilise and support employable benefit recipients with special support needs and complex problems that significantly hinder their social participation or integration into the labour market. Through intensive, individual and outreach support, participants are to be activated, introduced to existing support systems and gradually integrated into the integration offers of the Job Centre. The measure pursues the following objectives in particular: • Establishing and stabilising a reliable contact with the participants, • Improving cooperation and integration skills, • Supporting the management of individual problems, • Introducing to further support and integration services, • Improving cooperation with the Job Centre. The delivery of services takes place predominantly in the living environment of the participants and is oriented towards their individual support needs.
