The Egri Tankerületi Központ, as the Contracting Authority, intends to carry out a renovation at the following site in this procedure: 3284 Tarnaméra, Dobó István u. 1/b.; cadastral plot number: 518/9; Monument number: 2249; Monument identification number: 5864. The Tarnaméra Primary School operates on the plot, which adjoins the former castle. The buildings once functioned together, with part of the school located in the castle. The adjacent plot, under cadastral plot number 518/6, is the site of the former Almássy Castle, which is under monument protection. Therefore, the school building's plot is considered a monument environment. The school building was connected to the castle building by a side corridor, in which classrooms were also established. Today, the school no longer wishes to use the castle building, as the monument building cannot provide the conditions required for 21st-century teaching. No renovation is planned for the existing school building. There is a need to expand the school's classrooms, with the goal of building two additional classrooms and one development room. The expansion is possible along the length of the school building's corridor. Due to the proximity of the plot boundaries, the expansion is planned to be on the southeast side, towards the rear courtyard. In the continuation of the corridor, a new corridor section will be created, which will be completed with a bathroom block. At the end of the connecting corridor, parallel to the southern wing, a new staircase will be created, from which the new classrooms and the development room can be accessed. The new building section will be formed from two interconnected masses: the corridor-toilet block-development room ensemble will be placed in the continuation of the existing E-W mass; the two new classrooms will be located in a mass perpendicular to these. Both building masses will appear as a continuation of the existing high roof, integrated with it. In its external appearance, it will blend with the existing building, with a cream-colored facade plaster, grey base plaster, dark brown eaves cladding and canopy, pergola; brown tile roofing. The new classrooms and the development room will have external shading. The placement of the extension will be accompanied by courtyard landscaping, with no tree felling planned. In the school courtyard, the development of green spaces around the building is planned, as well as the construction of a parking lot in front of the school. The planned extension requires a building permit. The project does not include an energy efficiency investment, only new construction/extension.
