Description

To create the experience of a unified urban space around Our Lady's Church, the paving on Dyrkøb and the carriageway at the southern end of Nørregade, as well as the eastern part of Studiestræde, will be replaced with granite, so that there is a continuous paving from facade to facade around Our Lady's Church and on Dyrkøb and Bispetorvet. On Dyrkøb, existing car parking spaces will be removed, and the area will be transformed into a green, recreational urban space with a focus on tranquillity, stay, and sensory experiences, and more green elements will be added to Bispetorvet to support the area's recreational value. The project will also include the establishment of new recreational opportunities in the area. On Dyrkøb, the bombardment of 1807 will be conveyed as a location-specific story that contributes to the area's historical identity and experiential value. The consultant must, in connection with the task solution, relate extensively to the project's location in Copenhagen's medieval city and the special historical context that characterizes the area. This involves an in-depth understanding of the historical structures, architectural styles, and cultural environments that characterize the area. The consultant must therefore integrate this knowledge into the project's design and planning to ensure that the solutions harmonize with and respect the existing historical heritage. It is also expected that the consultant will take into account any preservation and conservation requirements that may apply, and engage in dialogue with relevant heritage authorities with a view to ensuring that the project contributes positively to the preservation of the city's historical values. The continuation of the project is conditional on a political decision after the completion of the project proposal phase. The task includes the preparation of layout proposals, project proposals, authority projects, tender projects, implementation projects, as well as project follow-up and expert supervision, including 1 year of review. The winning tenderer's services regarding client consultancy are provided in accordance with FRIs Service Descriptions for Client Consultancy 2019, Section 3. Reference is made to the tender material. The tender material contains a more detailed description of the task and the tender process, and the remaining material contains a description of the scope of the task.
