The municipality of Leutkirch im Allgäu plans the new construction of a waterworks facility consisting of administration, workshops, and a vehicle hall. Currently, the waterworks is located on the site of the municipal works depot at Brühlstraße. Since the construction of a new fire station is planned at the current site and the municipal works depot is therefore being rebuilt elsewhere (south of the sewage treatment plant), a new site for the waterworks must also be found. For this purpose, a site investigation was carried out. The site at Tautenhofer Straße, northeast of the existing pumping station at Rauns, was selected by the municipal council, as the infrastructure (power, water) is already in place. The traffic accessibility and operational synergies at this site are also high. According to the feedback from the LRA regarding the building application, the distance to the old protection zone II of the well must be maintained, so the new building must be set back accordingly. The site at Rauns also offers the possibility, due to its central location in the supply network and the existing emergency supply well at Rauns, to develop a blackout concept or a grid-connected emergency supply for almost the entire municipal area from this site. The city of Leutkirch has already developed a spatial concept and a design, which will be further developed by the city until including LPH 4. A two-storey administration building with social facilities, workshops, and storage is planned. In addition, a cold storage for pipes and a vehicle hall/garage are provided. The vehicles essential for operation or those that must be frost-free due to their readiness for use (e.g. tank trailers) are to be located in the through hall (trailer operation, shunting, loading). The remaining vehicles can be parked covered in the area of the operational yard. The GFA (R) is approx. 1,900m², the GFA (S) approx. 335m² for coverings. For the services of the specialist planning TGA according to §§ 53, 55 HOAI ALG 1-3, 8, optionally 7 (HLS), LPH 1-8+9, an appropriate engineering office with experience in timber or timber hybrid construction is sought. The contract is to be awarded in stages. ALG 1 Sewage, water or gas systems ALG 2 Heating systems ALG 3 Air conditioning systems optionally ALG 7 Special-purpose or process engineering systems: vehicle and equipment wash hall ALG 8 Building automation.
