Description

Within the framework of the current participation competition, we intend to tender security services for the cruise terminals in the Port of Hamburg. The security services are an integral part of the port and terminal organisation and significantly contribute to ensuring a safe, compliant and smooth cruise operation. In the upcoming tender, the aforementioned cruise terminals (Steinwerder, Altona and HafenCity) will be divided into individual lots. Thus, a security service provider has the opportunity to apply for only one lot or to create a complete package for all cruise terminals. The distribution of all calls (approx. 330 in 2027) at the different terminals can be represented as follows: Cruise Center Steinwerder 50%, Cruise Center HafenCity 30%, Cruise Center Altona 20% The services to be provided are based on the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS-Code) and in strict compliance with the respective valid guidelines of the Designated Authority for the Port of Hamburg. The aim is to ensure an internationally recognised level of hazard prevention according to the SOLAS Convention and the consistent implementation of all national and port-related security requirements. The scope of services includes in particular: · Carrying out access and access controls for persons, vehicles and delivery traffic · Control and monitoring of security areas (Restricted Areas) according to the hazard prevention plan · Carrying out person and baggage controls using approved control technology · Implementation of measures at increased threat levels (Security Level 1-3) · Supporting the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) in implementing the hazard prevention plans · Documentation, reporting and close coordination with authorities, water police and terminal operator
