The Municipality of Peel en Maas, as an employer, wishes to offer, via a collective contract, an insurance for all employees that provides for a benefit in the event of partial and full work incapacity, with which the (sum of the) WIA benefit and the ABP incapacity pension together are topped up to at least 70% in the event of partial work incapacity and 10% of the insured income in the event of full work incapacity WGA 80-100% and 5% for IVA 80-100%. The income must be topped up until the participant's AOW eligible age. Premium payment takes place as long as there is an insurable interest. With this tender, the municipality aims to enter into an agreement with one insurer who offers a collective work incapacity insurance in accordance with our requirements and wishes. This concerns 427 employees and a salary sum to be insured of approximately 20,500,000 EUR. The agreement has a duration of three (3) years, starts on 1 January 2027 and ends on 1 January 2030. The agreement can be extended after the initial duration by another period of three years.
