Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Abschluss nicht-exklusiver Rabattvereinbarungen nach § 130 a Abs. 8 SGB V ab dem 01.06.2026

Section 130a, paragraph 8 of the German Social Code Book V (SGB V) allows health insurance funds (KK) and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework rebate contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory KK. The GWQ, as a company for economy and quality with KK, acts for its shareholder and customer funds in accordance with Section 130a, paragraph 8, sentence 5 of the SGB V. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, a regular process of substance-related, formal tendering procedures in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the German Competition Act (GWB) is carried out by the GWQ ServicePlus AG. Until the entry into force of new pharmaceutical rebate contracts, the GWQ wishes to conclude pharmaceutical rebate contracts with all interested pharmaceutical companies. The contract start date is 01.06.2026.
