With the documents 22/17395 and 22/17919, the Hamburg Parliament has initiated the introduction of a Hamburg Lobby Register. The aim of the Hamburg Lobby Register is to create transparency at the state level regarding the exercise of representation of interests to the Hamburg Parliament and Senate, and thereby further strengthen public trust in political decision-making processes, as the German Bundestag aims to do with its Federal Lobby Register. The Chancellery of the Hamburg Parliament of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is obliged to introduce such a lobby register and maintain it in the Chancellery of the Hamburg Parliament by 01.09.2027.
