The Hilton Munich Airport plans to undertake a comprehensive renovation of its public areas (approx. 3,450 m²) to implement the design theme "Mountain Hub" in the atrium, reception, WC facilities, and West conference area. The construction works will take place during ongoing 5-star hotel operations and are scheduled for completion by the end of the 3rd quarter of 2027 - the atrium must be completed before Oktoberfest 2027. Key measures:

- West conference area: Reorganisation including drywall construction, renewal of floor, wall and ceiling coverings, mobile partition walls, break-out area, new floor tanks, chilled ceilings, media & ventilation technology. High-quality buffet and beverage technology, high-quality joinery fittings, new furniture.

- Atrium: Redesign with a new two-storey bar, lighting installation, Sport1 broadcast area, reception counter, lounge zones. Technical renewal including electrical, water supply/drainage, lighting control (KNX/DALI), joinery fittings, new furniture.

- Sanitary facilities: Renewal of ladies' and gents' WCs with new sanitary blocks, new partition walls, and new floor, wall and ceiling surfaces; connections remain in place.

- Lighting concept: High-quality, flexible lighting for events, coordinated with the design concept.

- General: Replacement of technical systems (e.g. electrical distributions), consideration of underfloor heating when installing floor tanks.

The design planning (LP3) will form the binding basis for further implementation by the general contractor. In addition to the design, the performance phase 5 according to HOAI, as well as a detailed workshop and assembly plan, are to be provided.
