Germany – Engineering services – MPI für Geoanthropologie, Jena - Umbau und Generalsanierung zum Institutsgebäude von zwei denkmalgeschützten Klinikgebäuden - Fachplanung Technische Ausrüstung (Labor)
Description
The scope of services involves the extensive renovation of two listed existing buildings (former clinics) with planning and conversion into new administrative and laboratory spaces for the Max-Planck-Institut für Geoanthropologie in Jena. The former urology clinic, located at parcel 105/ Lessingstraße 1, includes a listed part from 1914 and an extension from 1991. The former ENT clinic, located at parcel 102/5 / Lessingstraße 2, was built in 1928. Each building is four-storey with an additional partially daylighted basement and an unfinished gable storey. The buildings and garden are listed; therefore, close coordination with the State Office for Heritage Conservation or the lower heritage conservation authority is required. The institute building will predominantly consist of office space and ancillary office space. Additionally, seminar rooms, a laboratory area with storage space, server rooms, and a Decision Theatre are planned. The laboratory area will be designed as a shared laboratory pool for all experimentally working organizational units. The highly installed experimental area with laboratories, laboratory storage, and servers will be housed in the extension of the former urology clinic. The low-installed office and communication areas will be housed in the listed part of the urology clinic and the ENT clinic. The subject of this VgV award procedure are the services of the specialist planning Technical Equipment (medical or laboratory equipment) according to § 55 HOAI in conjunction with Appendix 15 to HOAI 2021 for the plant group 7 in the performance phases 2, 3 and 5 to 9 as well as the special services described in the contract and in its Annex A. The project will be carried out as a BIM project in the Open-BIM process. The contract also includes the BIM-related services, coordination services, and the creation, updating, and provision of the specialist models described in the contract documents including the scope of services, as per the contractual specifications. Further information on the initial situation, task definition, and scope of services can be found in Annex 01 and the engineering contract for the laboratory including the scope of services.
