Section 3.2.1: Deep and Pipe Construction Section South

The contracting authority operates a heating plant at Frankfurter Straße 100 in Darmstadt. The heat is primarily generated via the nearby waste-to-energy plant (hereinafter "MHKW"), delivered to the heating plant and distributed from there. Due to a current renovation in the MHWK, more heat can be utilised in the future. To utilise this potential, new district heating pipelines will be constructed between the heating plant, the MHWK and further supply areas. The overall project will be divided into a northern construction section (lot 3.1) and a southern construction section (lot 3.2) for commercial, organisational and operational reasons. The deep and pipe construction works in the northern construction section and in the southern construction section will be tendered separately. The deliveries and associated services for the plastic casing pipe laying system (KMR) will be tendered together for both construction sections. The contractor will be commissioned to carry out deep, road and pipe construction work for underground district heating pipelines. The following will be laid: - a supply line DN350/DA560 from Pallaswiesenstraße, via Kasinostraße, to the intersection area of Landwehrstraße. The southern section ends south of the intersection of Kasinostraße/Landwehrstr. with an underground stop valve DN 350 / DA 560 and in Landwehrstr. with an underground stop valve DN 200 / DA 355. The contractor must provide proof of a valid and suitable certification according to AGFW working sheet FW 601 for the implementation of the measure. In addition, proof of suitability in the form of a pre-qualification (PQ-VOB), a suitability certificate according to HVA-B-StB, an entry in the craftsmen's register or a Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) entry must be provided for the execution of deep and road construction work in the city area of Darmstadt. Empty pipes, control cables and a PE100 RC pipe DA 110 for VE water must be laid section by section. The contractor is responsible for coordinating the timing of the socket assembly. A call-off must be made before the execution date, stating the required scope of the assembly work. The notification is made with a lead time of 10 working days to the desired scheduling. Optional services: The contracting authority and two potential connection customers (Firma Alitus & Firma Schenck) are currently in discussions about the creation of a house connection and the subsequent heat supply. Depending on a successful contractual agreement between the respective interested party and the contracting authority, the contractor will be optionally commissioned for the associated requirement title. Requirement title VL Landwehrstraße – supply line DN200/DA355: The supply line DN200/DA355 connects to the southern section and ends in Landwehrstr. west of the exit to the Schenck/Alitus operating area (house number 52). This optional service can be found in the schedule of services title 20 "KMR – requirement title VL Landwehrstr." Requirement title VL Schenck/Alitus – supply line DN150/DA315: The supply line DN150/DA315 connects to the "requirement title VL Landwehrstr." and ends before the exit of the network connection DN80/DA200 to Alitus. This optional service can be found in the schedule of services title 30 "KMR – requirement title VL Schenck/Alitus." Requirement title NA Alitus – house connection DN80/DA200: The network connection DN80/DA200 connects to the "requirement title VL Schenck/Alitus" and ends in the network connection room of Alitus with main shut-off valves and blind flanges. This optional service can be found in the schedule of services title 40 "KMR – requirement title NA Alitus" Requirement title NA Schenck – house connection DN150/DA315: The network connection DN150/DA315 connects to the "requirement title VL Schenck/Alitus" and ends outside the connection room of building 47 above ground with a riser and shut-off valves with blind flanges. This optional service can be found in the schedule of services title 50 "KMR – requirement title NA Schenck" The contracting authority is entitled to call off or commission the aforementioned optional services from the contractor by 10.02.2027. The call-off or commissioning of the services can be made according to individual or several requirement titles or in total. Written form is a mandatory prerequisite for the call-off or commissioning of the optional services. The contractor is obliged to carry out the commissioned services. The provision of the called-off or commissioned optional services will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of this contract. The contractor does not have a legal claim to a contract extension, i.e. the contracting authority may, at its discretion, refrain from a call-off or commissioning of the optional services for any reason.
