This contract concerns the study for the restoration of the façades of the Art and History Museum on the Cinquantenaire site in Brussels. The Régie des Bâtiments has already renovated the other façades of the site. Therefore, the study for the restoration of the external façades and the façades of the inner courtyards of the Art and History Museum of the Cinquantenaire is timely for the coherence of the whole. These façades are classified, see Classification Order of 22.04.2004 in appendix 04. The contract aims for complete studies for - the restoration of the façades of the Art and History Museum (see perimeter in appendix), including statues, lettering, etc. - the feasibility of bringing the façades of the buildings up to fire safety standards and adding an additional evacuation route on the ground floor for the current Horeca - the restoration of the hemicycle of the Art and History Museum - studying and proposing possibilities for the integration and/or reconversion of the former entrance of the esplanade of the Art & History Museum, with a view to enhancing its visibility and making it a genuine space for showcasing the activities and collections of the Museum.
