General information on the construction site: The 11-storey residential slab Körnerstraße 9-10 is part of the model project for the further development of the urban development funding Erfurt Südost. The residential slab is located in a prominent position on the Kammweg and is thus widely visible in the cityscape. The large housing estate Herrenberg was built in the 1970s, and the Körnerstraße building was constructed at the beginning of the 1980s. The creation of a building joint between Körnerstraße 9 and 10 will dissolve the massive effect of the building. The main entrance to the building is via a three-storey new build within the building joint. Access to the renovated apartments is via attached walkways. Körnerstraße 10 will have an extension for day care facilities and a senior residence.
