The district office of Lichtenberg intends to implement the construction project "Extension, replacement new construction and renovation of schools and sports halls as well as renewal of the outdoor facilities" as part of the Berlin School Construction Offensive (BSO) on the property of the school location Sandinostraße 8, 10, 13055 Berlin. This is a comprehensive measure affecting the entire school site in four construction phases, the sequence of which is described in a functional performance description. The scope of services includes planning services according to HOAI (LPH 5 – Execution Planning), the trade and assembly planning as well as all construction services. The construction project comprises the following measures:

• New construction extension building ISS: GFA approx. 9,950 m2 extension building with 6 compartment clusters, specialist classrooms (Natural Sciences, Technology, Textile Design and Cooking) as well as library and inclusion area

• Extension to the existing building GS, Sandinostr. 8 (GFA approx. 250 m2, barrier-free access to the existing building GS by extension to the existing building GS) and the existing building ISS, Sandinostr. 10 (GFA approx. 250 m2, barrier-free access to the existing building ISS by extension to the existing building ISS)

• Demolition MUR (GFA approx. 1,630 m2 demolition of the three-storey extension building from the 1990s), sports hall 1 (GFA approx. 1,520 m2 demolition of the sports hall including ancillary wing from the 1970s) and sports hall 2 (GFA approx. 1,790 m2 demolition of the sports hall including ancillary wing from the 1990s)

• New construction Community HUB ISS (GFA approx. 4,300 m2; incl. canteen, multi-purpose room on the ground floor and three-court sports hall on the first floor) and Community HUB GS (GFA approx. 4,300 m2; incl. canteen, multi-purpose room on the ground floor and three-court sports hall on the first floor)

• Renewal of the outdoor facilities in all construction phases and the construction of sports facilities.
