BLT Baselland Transport AG is procuring compact air conditioning units based on the refrigerant propane (R290) as a replacement for the currently installed compact air conditioning units based on the refrigerant R134a. The compact air conditioning units are installed on the metre-gauge tram "Tango". A detailed description of the existing units and a specification for the units to be procured can be found in the further tender documents. A total of 38 trams are to be equipped with the following units. 4 compact air conditioning units for passenger compartments (152 units + 5 spare units) 1 compact air conditioning unit for the driver's cab (38 units + 2 spare units) 1 compact air conditioning unit for the vehicle rear (38 units + 2 spare units) Further details can be found in the tender documents.
