Germany – Roof insulation work – Projekt Erweiterung eines Bürogebäudes im Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst Dachabdichtungs- und Klempnerarbeiten

The contracting authority (hereinafter: CA) is tendering the roof waterproofing and sheet metal works for the extension and new construction of an office building in the Frankfurt-Höchst industrial park as part of a subsidised measure throughout Europe. A detailed project description and the corresponding scope of services can be found in the schedule of services with the corresponding attachments (part of the attachments package 03). Bidders are strongly advised to familiarise themselves with the local conditions and the work to be carried out during a site visit before submitting their bid to avoid misjudgements in pricing. If the successful bidder subsequently refers to circumstances that would have been apparent during a site visit, they will be estopped from doing so. Registration for a corresponding site visit is via the messaging function of the tender portal. For further details on the site visit, see the explanations in the schedule of services (part of the attachments package 03). The performance period for the services tendered here is expected to be between mid-December 2026 and the end of April 2027. The work is essentially divided into three sections. The roof greening can only be carried out after the installation of the heating and ventilation. The downpipes can only be fitted after the external render has been applied. The start of execution is expected to be 14.12.2026. Completion is to be achieved by 30.04.2027 (final completion date). After the order has been placed, the contractor must draw up a construction schedule, a site establishment plan and a list of equipment and submit them to the construction management at the latest 12 working days before the services are carried out. **ATTENTION:** In relation to the scheduling, the specifications from the framework schedule provided by the contracting authority (part of the attachments package 03) must be strictly observed. You are kindly invited to submit a bid on the basis of this invitation and the tendering/ contractual conditions attached to this letter. Please use the attached form sheets for this purpose. The following is explained in relation to the basis of the bid: · The exact scope of services is derived from the schedule of services with the corresponding attachments (part of the attachments package 03). · The qualities mentioned in the schedule of services as the basis for the planning contents are to be understood as minimum requirements. · Contractual details can be found in the Special Contractual Conditions (BVB – Unit Price Contract - Annex 04). · The contractor will be obliged to take out a construction all risks insurance at his own expense. The insurance certificate must be submitted to the CA by the start of construction (see § 14 para. 1 of the BVB – Unit Price Contract - Annex 04). · The successful bidder will be asked to submit the corresponding calculation to the CA before the actual award. · The forms VHB Bund 221 "Price determination in award calculation" and 222 "Price determination for the final sum" may be requested by the tendering entity as part of the bid examination. The aforementioned forms do not need to be submitted with the bid.
