Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Abschluss nicht-exklusiver Rabattvereinbarung nach § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V zu patentgeschützten Wirkstoffen-VV90

Section 130a, paragraph 8 of the German Social Code (SGB V) enables health insurance funds (KK) and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework discount agreements for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory KK. The GWQ acts as the Society for Economy and Quality in KK, pursuant to Section 130a, paragraph 8, sentence 5 of the SGB V, for its shareholder and customer funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, a regular process of substance-related, formal tendering procedures, in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the GWB, is carried out by the GWQ ServicePlus AG. The contract start date is 01.07.2026.
