The Walsrode ammunition depot is to be reconceptualised and restructured. For this purpose, among other things, the future demand for storage and maintenance capacities has been quantified. Furthermore, the existing building substance has been assessed in a utilisation concept. According to this, there is a need for a complete renewal of the existing infrastructure. The aim is to bring the infrastructure requirements, as far as possible, up to the current state of the art with demand-oriented storage technology and operationally optimised work areas. To implement this objective, the planned extensive restructuring and adaptation of the property is required.
