France – Architectural and related services – CONCOURS DE MAITRISE D'OeUVRE POUR LA CONSTRUCTION D'UN CENTRE TECHNIQUE MUNICIPAL

The municipality of Montvalezan, located in Haute-Tarentaise in the department of Savoie, is notably known for hosting the La Rosière ski resort, whose tourist activity generates significant needs in terms of maintenance of public spaces, winter accessibility, building maintenance and operation of municipal equipment. To improve the operating conditions of its technical services and to meet the evolving needs, the municipality wishes to build a new Municipal Technical Centre on a plot of land located in La Rosière. This new facility aims to bring together on a single site the various activities currently spread over several locations. It will notably accommodate the administrative offices of the technical services, storage spaces for municipal vehicles and equipment, workshops, storage facilities, and the social facilities necessary for the staff. The project will also include accommodation for seasonal staff, to address the recruitment and accommodation constraints specific to mountain tourist areas. Beyond its functional aspects, the project will require particular attention in terms of architectural and landscape integration, given its location within the resort and the quality of the surrounding environment. Candidates will also need to consider the specific constraints related to the operation of a technical centre in a mountainous environment, notably the needs associated with snow clearing, material storage, and the reception of specialized equipment. The operation includes:

- Earthworks upstream of the current road for the building's installation

- Backfilling downstream of the current road for the arrangement of maneuvering spaces and the installation of storage and outdoor technical equipment spaces

- New construction of the technical centre of 2 788m² (SDO), as well as a ramp providing access to the first floor

- New construction of the accommodation of 781m² (SDO)
