This contract concerns the purchase of transport containers (type A65) compliant with the requirements for Type A packages, used for transporting radioactive materials with a limited level of hazard. A Type A package is packaging designed for the transport of radioactive materials whose activity does not exceed the limits set by international regulations (IAEA – Regulations for the Transport of Radioactive Materials). It must guarantee containment, protection against radiation, and mechanical resistance in the event of a common transport incident. The containers will be in lead with added antimony.
