Germany – Electrical power systems design services – Elektroplanungsleistungen für die Errichtung eines Umspannwerks

SWE Netz GmbHGermanyPublished on Aug 09, 2026
No deadline given

Description

SWE Netz GmbH, as the network operator for the state capital of Erfurt, is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the power distribution networks. One of the tasks is to adapt and, if necessary, expand and upgrade the high-voltage network (110kV network) to meet the increasing energy demand of network customers, which is rising due to various influencing factors. Several influencing factors act in parallel but largely independently of each other on the necessary further development of the 110kV network. The urban development in the Erfurt-Nordost area, the beginning of the transport transition (electromobility), and a high demand for high connection capacities for the establishment and operation of feed-in generation plants in the supply area are leading to a significant increase in the forecasted total connection capacity. These influencing factors result in a comprehensive need for adaptation in the structure and dimensioning of the high-voltage network in terms of quantity and arrangement within the network area. The subject of the present tender is therefore the creation and implementation of planning services (electrical planning: primary and secondary planning, construction supervision) in accordance with the basic services of phases 2 to 9 of the scope of services for Technical Equipment (Plant Group 4 (High-Voltage Systems)) for the construction of a substation at the location Erfurt-Stotternheim. Specific details on the scope of planning can be found in the task description. The award is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of Q4 2026. Planning and the associated measures are to commence immediately upon order placement (approximately early November 2026).
