The Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), Bellinzona Branch, is awarding the contract for the execution of visual inspections of the individual structural components (BAU) of the tunnels and galleries of the national roads as well as their equipment (BSA) to external engineering firms through an open procedure. The bidders are responsible for carrying out the inspections, assessing the condition, and documenting the tunnels and the associated facilities. The services include, in particular, the preparation of the inspections, the recording and analysis of damage, the updating of the inventories as well as the KUBA and FA-BSA databases, the assessment of the structural condition, and the determination of the maintenance needs and necessary maintenance measures. The contract also includes the creation of the technical documentation, the periodic presentation of the results to the contracting authority, and the preparation of the final inspection reports. The present contract comprises the inspection, condition assessment, and monitoring of the tunnels and galleries along National Road N13 from the northern portal of the San Bernardino Tunnel to the canton border SG/GR, N28 from the Landquart junction to the southern portal of the Gotschna Tunnel, and N29 from the Thusis-Süd junction to Silvaplana (Julierpassstrasse), for the period from spring 2027 to the end of 2031.
