Germany – Communication land-line rental – Betrieb Gigabit-Netz der Breitband Ostalb KAöR – OAK Gebiet West

On the basis of existing infrastructure, the participating cities and municipalities plan to establish a subsidised gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the municipal areas according to the Annex Task Description. This newly created passive gigabit network (FTTB) is to be successively handed over to a private network operator as operationally ready sub-networks for use and creation of the active network level and the provision of high-bit-rate broadband connections for a fee.
