Description

The subject of the single-phase design competition for the Innovationspark Altona is the design development of the green space and the adjoining open spaces based on the existing functional plan for the planning area of the future Innovationspark Altona. It is an explicit goal to align the current topics of urban development (including adaptation to climate change, ensuring sustainable mobility, reducing surface sealing) with the area and usage requirements. The aim is a conceptually convincing open space planning concept that takes into account the different needs of the user groups as well as important topics associated with climate change, creates high-quality recreation areas and creates meaningful path connections. For the competition and further planning, pre-conceived elevation designs with targeted detention areas and emergency waterways (especially in the Green Centre) are to be specified with the listed volume requirements; the specified volume requirements are also to be specified in a high-resolution digital elevation/terrain model (DTM) as a basis for further model calculations by Hamburg Wasser in the development of the open space plan after the competition. Particular attention is paid to the sensitive handling of the existing, valuable green structures, the new open space planning, which adjoins the competition area to the south and serves as a transition area to the cemetery (and Volkspark Altona) and the integration of functional requirements within the framework of the specifications of the functional plan. The new Innovationspark Altona covers an area of approximately 8.4 ha. The open space planning areas are divided into areas of the HIE (Sub-area A), areas of the FHH and private land areas (Sub-area B) and the future building areas of the Innovationspark (Sub-area C). As part of the open space planning competition, approximately 3.1 ha (Sub-area A and Sub-area B) are to be processed. The determined billable construction costs for cost group 500 according to DIN 276 relate to the planning area (Sub-area A and Sub-area B) for open space planning and amount to approximately 9.4 million euros net. For Sub-area C, a design guide for open space planning is to be developed after the competition.
