Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Webbasierter Katalog der deutschen Raumfahrtakteure (KaRa - Phase III)

The German Space Agency at the German Aerospace Center (RFA) took on the task in 2017, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), to create the first nationwide catalogue of German space actors. The print catalogue „German Space Actors“, which was commissioned in a KaRa-Phase I, was then converted into a web-based cataloguing in a KaRa-Phase II. The planned KaRa-Phase III project aims to continue and keep up-to-date the web-based cataloguing of the German space landscape, offer participants new features, and conduct a more systematic promotion. The exchange of information in politics, industry and research in the field of space is to be increased, as well as the transfer of technologies and know-how between space and other industries. Online users will have the opportunity to continue to inform themselves comprehensively about individual space actors and to use grid functions. In addition, new offers will be activated. The competitiveness and importance of the German space industry and research are to be strengthened as a result. The detailed description of the project can be found in the statement of work.
