The subject of the Framework Agreement is the arrangement of procedures for concluding individual purchase contracts (hereinafter “Purchase Contracts” or individually “Purchase Contract”) for (i) the production and supply of up to 10 multi-source units powered by fixed traction equipment of systems 3kV DC/25kV AC with technology specified by the manufacturer necessary for operation outside the overhead line (excluding hydrogen propulsion) fully capable of operation on railway tracks of gauge 1 435 mm in the territory of the Czech Republic (hereinafter “Units” or individually “Unit”), including all permits, approvals, consents and registrations (“registration” in this tender documentation refers to all registrations having a character similar to a permit, approval or consent), which are valid according to the legislation on the date of delivery of the respective Unit to the contractor and are essential for the operation and use of the supplied Units and which will allow the contractor to operate and use the Units on the territory of the Czech Republic in a proper and unrestricted manner and further including the technical documentation belonging to the respective Units in the scope set out in the Framework Agreement; and/or (ii) contracts for repairs and maintenance of the supplied Units in the form of Full-Service (hereinafter “Full-Service Contract”).
