Netherlands – Structural steelworks – 31213788: Vernieuwen Van Brienenoordbrug – contract 2 Bouw nieuwe westboog

This project is specifically targeted at the contract for the construction of the new west arch (contract 2). The key contract characteristics are:

- This is an E&C contract; RWS provides a DO+ which the contractor must develop into a UO;

- For the assembly, a shipyard will be made available, namely the location Duivelseiland;

- This contract has interfaces with the other contracts for the Van Brienenoordbrug and with the contract for the realisation of the Circular Shipyard Duivelseiland (CWD), where RWS fulfils the integrator role;

- Not in the scope of this contract: the transport of the new arch to the Van Brienenoordbrug location;
