Construction of the visitor information centre and seminar building of the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum

On the grounds of the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum, a new visitor information centre with an integrated seminar area is to be built near the former SS economic building (Green Monster). As part of the single-phase architectural design competition with a landscape planning component, according to RPW 2013, a project planner has already been appointed. The Brandenburg State Office for Real Estate and Construction (BLB) is now tendering the following planning services for the Brandenburg Memorials Foundation. The subject of the procurement is specialist planning services for the technical equipment according to §§53-56 HOAI 2021 for plant groups 1 to 8. The planning includes water supply and wastewater disposal, a sustainable heating and cooling supply based on renewable energies, ventilation systems to ensure the required indoor air quality, and the electrical power supply including on-site power generation through photovoltaics. Furthermore, the measure includes telecommunications, information and security technology, barrier-free access to the building by means of lift systems, the technical equipment of a fully-fledged catering kitchen, and the building automation including energy management, consumption recording and cross-trade control of systems. The aim of the planning is to develop an energy-efficient, sustainable, economical, safe and future-proof technical building equipment taking into account the requirements of public building construction as well as the relevant legal and technical regulations. The planning services of the specialist planning for technical equipment will be divided into five specialist lots according to the plant groups according to §53 HOAI, as follows:

- Lot 0001 - Specialist planning plant groups 1, 2, 3;

- Lot 0002 - Specialist planning plant groups 4, 5;

- Lot 0003 - Specialist planning plant group 6;

- Lot 0004 - Specialist planning plant group 7;

- Lot 0005 - Specialist planning plant group 8.
