The contract is aimed at appointing a registered auditor who: - carries out the audit of the consolidated annual accounts in accordance with Article 393(1) of Book 2 of the Dutch Civil Code and reports thereon; - performs the natural advisory function arising from the findings of the audit, also expressed in a management letter upon completion of the interim audit; - performs the special audits (including the audit of the funding data) that the management of ROC MN entails. Due to the close relationship, these three topics are combined as one contract in the market and the tender is not divided into lots. The natural advisory function has a logical coherence with the audit (findings) and it is organisationally efficient and effective to outsource special audits to an auditor who knows the organisation and its administration. The service provider to be contracted contributes to the following The contract relates to the provision of accounting services for ROC Midden Nederland (hereinafter: ROC MN). The scope of the contract is based on the nature, size and complexity of the organisation. ROC MN is an educational institution in the secondary vocational education sector with approximately 1 800 employees and an annual revenue/expense volume of approximately € 200 million. The organisation has 16 educational locations and a central supporting organisation with associated administrative processes.
