The town of Weikersheim intends to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the existing indoor pool, which is structurally integrated into the school complex of the Gymnasium. The renovation of the teaching pool will take place as part of an overall measure in two construction phases. The subject of the present tender is the renewal of the existing teaching pool by a stainless steel pool, including the necessary civil engineering and connection works. The existing tiled concrete pool with a size of approximately 20.00 m × 8.00 m will be completely dismantled or prepared accordingly for the reception of the new stainless steel pool. The new pool, including all necessary structural and technical connections, must be manufactured and assembled professionally. The scope of services advertised includes, in particular, the work and assembly planning, production, delivery, and final assembly of the stainless steel pool, as well as the civil engineering work directly required on the pool body. This includes, among other things, the filling of the technical level in the area of the pool bottom, in-situ concrete work on the bottom inflow channels, work on the channel heads, as well as the formation and adaptation of the transitions between floor and wall plates. The services are to be carried out in the existing structure and taking into account the existing structural conditions of the indoor pool. All ancillary and connection works necessary for the complete, functional, and professional manufacture of the new stainless steel pool are part of the service, provided they are described in the tender documents. The execution of the complete renovation of the teaching pool is planned for the period from November 2026 to August 2027.
