**Accessibility and Environmental Improvement of Zugló Railway Station**

The contracting authority draws attention to the fact that the design of the accessibility improvements for Zugló Railway Station, which is part of the 100a electrified suburban and national public transport railway line, involves the following basic tasks to be completed within the framework of the contract to be awarded:

- a comprehensive review, necessary modification, and updating of the previous (preliminary) design documentation;

- the design of the demolition of the existing entrance building located on the platform and the structurally connected reinforced concrete platform canopy, as well as the examination and design of the appropriate, modern replacement of the functions operating in the building (ticket sales, waiting, passenger toilet, commercial functions) on the area next to the railway embankment;

- the design of 2 new subways leading under 2 tracks and the accessible (external passenger lift + staircase) platform access connected to them;

- during the examination, the possibility of using the area freed up by the demolition of the platform building should be particularly evaluated, and the most favorable location variant from a passenger traffic point of view should be indicated;

- the design of a possible further (3rd) exit connection on the terminal side of the station, which will have 1,874,690 annual passengers in 2025, in the Semsey Andor street – Szugló street axis, in the interest of ensuring the connection between the parts of the settlement;

- raising the platform to a height of sk+55;

- extension of the steel platform canopy towards the starting point, examining the static adequacy of the existing section, and determining any necessary interventions (with particular attention to architectural aspects) – the intervention affects at least 580 m2 of area as specified in the design disposition requirements;

- the establishment of a static and dynamic passenger information system, taking into account the services of BKK and MÁV-Csoport;

- renovation of the existing subway, design of a new subway cover;

- the establishment/upgrade of necessary telecommunication, spatial lighting, and safety technology systems;

- designation of supporting routes, in cooperation with the capital and the district, with a particular focus on transfer options.

Optional item: design management

The design management, defined in Section 19 (1) of Act LXIX of 2023 on the Order of State Construction Investments, which may arise during the implementation phase of the state construction investment, is invited as an option. The tasks of the winning bidder within the framework of design management are:

- to monitor the project implementation;

- to check the implementation of the implementation design documentation prepared by it;

- to draw attention to factors hindering or promoting implementation according to the plan;

- to propose solutions to technical uncertainties and problems arising during implementation;

- to facilitate the resolution of professional questions arising during implementation related to the implementation design documentation

- to ensure on-site cooperation until the completion of the handover procedure.

The complete scope of the tasks, their detailed description, and conditions are contained in the Design Disposition (and its related annexes) and the Contract Draft. In the case of full authorization and full implementation designs, design is carried out based on a building information model (BIM) according to Decree 31/2024. (VIII. 22.) ÉKM. The design in the model space is also necessary, and the processing and publication of these images are mandatory tasks during consultations and in the case of certain design chapters (e.g. BIMx model space for navigation, spatial sections, views, illustrative perspective view, etc.).
