Kankaanpään City's (Contracting Authority) invitation to tender for school transport services for basic and comprehensive school students on the route Keskusta - Karvia for the academic years 2026 – 2027 and 2027 - 2028 for the period 4.1.2027 - 30.6.2028 and optional periods for the academic years 2028-2029 and 2029-2030. The contracting authority decides on the use of the options. The estimated value of the procurement, including options, is approximately 210 000 euros. School transport takes place during school operating hours, approximately 190 days a year. The contracting authority annually notifies the school operating hours in advance. The transport routes and quantities are preliminary and are presented based on current information. The school transport routes and schedules will be verified in early August, when final information on students and transport times is available. Verifications are carried out in cooperation with the contracting authority and the selected contractual partners. The contractual partner draws up the transport timetables based on the given information. The contracting authority approves the final route plans and timetables. The contracting authority reserves the right to change routes due to changes in the period system, change of school term, change of school order or number of students, etc. Before making a decision on changes, consultations are held with the service provider. The service provider takes into account daily changes in each case due to school order and other matters. The main responsibility for the functionality and accuracy of the route and timetable lies with the service provider.
