With a passenger volume of over 10 million in 2025 and an air freight volume of approximately 971,000 tonnes, the airport is a significant economic factor and employer in the region with ambitious climate protection and sustainability goals. Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH intends to award the procurement of de-icing fluid as part of a framework agreement. The maximum term of the framework agreement is 6 years, with a base term of 4 years and a maximum extension of 2 times 1 year.
