The contracting authority will convert the existing drive laboratory, including the transformer room, in the Giefinggasse 2 building into a battery test laboratory (hereinafter also referred to as the battery laboratory or laboratory) for all types of modern lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries (generic term: intercalation batteries). Tests can be carried out in the laboratory at cell, module and system levels (battery pack).
