The present contract concerns the supply of tyres and accessories as well as the provision of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) services (repair, dismounting, mounting, balancing, etc.) for the fleet of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) of Var. This fleet consists of approximately 1 050 vehicles and equipment, including 700 light vehicles (LV) and utility vehicles, 300 HGVs, and 50 trailers. The supplies and services concern all vehicles and equipment of the SDIS of Var but may also extend to equipment and vehicles belonging to other SDIS. The contractor's attention is particularly drawn to the fact that the repair, maintenance, and operational return to service of emergency and intervention vehicles constitute a major challenge for the SDIS of Var and, depending on the situation, have a proven urgency. The operational availability of vehicles directly conditions the SDIS of Var's ability to carry out its rescue and firefighting missions, so the contractor must pay particular attention to the reactivity and continuity of the services entrusted to them. The needs of the SDIS of Var are permanent, with particularly high demand during the summer period, notably due to the increased risk of vegetation fires. To this end, services may be required on weekends and public holidays, particularly in the context of exceptional situations or crises requiring the rapid maintenance or restoration of vehicle operational capacity. The contractor undertakes to organise their human, material, and logistical resources to be able to meet the needs of the SDIS of Var under the conditions and deadlines set out in this contract, including when operational circumstances require intervention outside of normal hours.
