On the health campus of the city of Cologne in Merheim, the treatment offers of the existing hospital locations Merheim, Holweide and the children's hospital Amsterdamer Straße are to be concentrated at one location in the future. The aim is to ensure efficient and demand-oriented healthcare by eliminating duplicate structures, promoting centralisation and specialisation, and simultaneously improving cost-effectiveness. The subject of the tendered service is the engineering services for preventive fire protection for the construction project Health Campus Cologne - New Children's Clinic, Extension Building and Existing Building, as well as optionally Service and Logistics Centre, consisting of - the new buildings of the children's hospital (Building 20D), the extension building (Building 20C) with a two-storey underground car park and access corridor, - the existing building including measures for structural integration with the existing buildings 20, 20A and 20B, - the conversion of the usage areas of the existing buildings 20, 20A and 20B to be integrated. The modernisation of the bed stations of the so-called "A-string" of the existing building 20 will be carried out in a parallel measure and is not the subject of the procedure, and - Optionally: New construction of the service hub including connection to the main building via largely existing tunnels (optional with contract transfer).
