This procurement notice relates to the procurement HEL 2024-003652: Disabled persons' work and day activities. The subject of the procurement is day activities services for disabled persons, persons with developmental disabilities and persons on the autism spectrum in Helsinki. Day activities are organised outside the home and strengthen the client's everyday skills and support the prerequisites for independent living. Day activities are primarily organised for persons over 18 years of age (in some exceptional cases for persons who have completed comprehensive school at 16 years of age). The services of day activities are day activities, work activities and vocational guidance. There are six sub-areas in the procurement: Sub-area 1: Vocational guidance Sub-area 2: Work activities Sub-area 3: Day activities The service to be procured is described in more detail in the tender documents. The estimated number of clients at the beginning of the procurement period in 2027 is 682. The procurement is carried out in accordance with the procurement law 100 § with the procurement unit's own defined SOTE procurement procedure, in which the principles of the procurement law 3 § are followed. The procurement procedure is described in detail in the tender documents. The duration of the SOTE procurement procedure is 1.2.2025-31.1.2029. The contracting authority has the right to extend the contract period with two (2) option periods of a maximum of one (1) year each. This is the 2nd phase of the procurement procedure. In this phase, the contract period for the selected service providers starts on 1.2.2027 and ends on 31.1.2029. The contracting authority has the right to extend the contract period with two (2) option periods of a maximum of one (1) year each. The procurement unit does not commit to any procurement quantities but the service is ordered as needed.
